An obvious question: WHEN???
Is it only when browsing the web or when using other programs (such as Microsoft Word)?
Assuming that it's only when web browsing, which browser are you using? (Internet Explorer? Edge? Firefox? Chrome? Opera? Avant? Something else?)
Does it only happen on certain websites (with AB probably being the most likely!) or is it a more general problem?
Have you tried another browser?
(All of the above is based upon the assumption that you're using a Windows PC. If you're using something else, such as a Mac, iPhone or Android device, please ensure that we know about it!)

Try resetting Firefox:
If you've not got File, Edit, View, etc across the top of your screen, right-click up there and put a tick next to 'Menu Bar'.
Go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions and note down the names of any extensions you wish to keep (as you're about to uninstall them).
Then go to Help > Troubleshooting Information and click on Refresh Firefox.
Reinstall any extensions you want back.
