I currently have my broadband, cable TV & telephone supplied by NTL. I would like to convert over to the new TalkTalk package whereby you get free broadband and unlimited national calls for 21 per month. Additionally I would get Sky TV. However, TalkTalk say I cannot convert from NTL as my telephone number is not a BT one! Any suggestions?

all i can think of is to cancel ntl--go back to bt--but only if it is a bt line--u may have an ntl line and no bt line to ur home--if u have a bt line u can then convert to talk talk then get a satellite dish for ur sky--in the end despite free broadband on talk talk u may not be saving any money--also u have to check if talk talk broadband is available in ur area--i have a bt line but my bill is thru talk talk--i enquired into getting their broadband but they said their b/band was not installed in my local exchange and they had no immediate plans to do so
If it;s not available in your area they charge you another10.
