Nice suitcases.
The article indicates they are not breaking any rules.
Not doing anything other than what many of Britons on benefits do.
They flee from persecution and claim asylum. They then return to where they were 'persecuted' and they are not breaking any rules? Then change the bleeding rules!!!!!
Well you must tell the German Government that, not us.
Don't be so snitty, the halo's starting to slip.
I have no idea why you say that, nothing untoward in either of my replies.

Asylum seekers seeking refuge in a safe Country once establised and in receipt of benefits return to the country they were supposedly fleeing from for a holiday does rebrand them as Economic Migrants in my opinion.

Happening in the UK as well. The Germans are saying that no data is available due to data protection laws. You know the laws that were supposed to protect us, but instead just hide from us what the "authorities" don't want us to know.
By the way my link is 12 months old. Another first for Britain.
It would seem sensible to put in a condition that for any applications for asylum based on their homeland being too dangerous the application should be rejected and the applicant would have to start all over again in the event that they return to the dangerous country. I'm not sure though whether we are talking about a handful of cases only though or thousands so maybe it isn't worth putting in extra steps/checks. It may not even be practical once refugee status has been granted, unless some sort of flag is put on the passport saying they can't return.
Most certainly the rules as they stand need looking at again.
They were already economic migrants when they failed to stop at the first safe country. Returning to the, claimed to be, unsafe country merely indicates that they never were refugees. In which case I do not understand why all sanctuary type agreement with them is not automatically null and void.

It also creates the impression/suspicion that all (or at least most) "refugees" from that area are nothing of the sort, also. (Unless one is claiming that the extremist types are the only ones able to go back as they please and not be in danger.)

In the OP, when I asked "should they be allowed to return? I meant to Germany
Probably going to tell their mates how easy life is in Germany before getting the necessary paperwork to get into the UK. You read it here first.
This makes a complete nonsense of 'asylum'. People fleeing for their own safety do not, voluntarily, return to the source of the danger. No, they shouldn’t be allowed back into Germany.

/// Not doing anything other than what many of Britons on benefits do. ///

Do you mean indigenous Britons or those we have granted British citizenship to?
I agree with Naomi.
