Just a simple question .Sould I fill in the form on line to enquirer if I have paid PPI ?

Don't know as the company I took out the mortgage with has been take over and I have long since paid off the mortgage

Who took over gateway ?

If it's the Gateway building society you mean ; then it was taken over by the Woolwich Building Society ;who in turn was taken over by Barclays

So they would know after this time approx 18 years

I have discovered that those forms are sent out to anyone on the electrol list,
not just people who have bank accounts etc
