Electronic Drum Kit

Looking to get an electronic drum kit....possibly the Roland TD-1KV.

Never played elec drums but pretty proficient on acoustic.

This is only for fun....put some headphones on and drum along to some tunes.

Anyone used elec drums after a lifetime of acoustic? Be interested to hear your views.

I've always prefered the sound with a percussion drum kit, however you can have some fantastic sounds from the electric ones.
