Any suggestions for accommodation in the Whitstable, Ramsgate areas?

Small boutique hotels or pubs with rooms preferred to B&Bs.

May I still suggest a B&B anyway, as it's definitely far more akin to a boutique hotel than to 'Mrs Bloggs' guest house'? (It's got a 4 star rating from the British Tourist Board and, at £85 or £95 per night at this time of year, priced in line with many good hotels).

I've had a couple of lengthy stays (courtesy of the firm I was working for) at Copeland House and it's an absolute gem. It's right by the sea, on a side street where you can normally find free parking nearby. (If not, there's an pay-&-display car park next door, where any unused time on the meter after 8pm is automatically credited forward to after 8.30am on the next day, so that you can pay the night before if you're planning on having a leisurely breakfast).

The location couldn't be better (just a few minutes from the shops, restaurants and bars but still in a quiet location) and the landlady, Georgina, is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to help people. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the food is first class.

An unusual request as those places are 20 miles apart - see many choices below

Thank you Chris, I will take a look.

CaC, not sure why you think it odd that I'm looking for accommodation in a broad area? Additionally I know how to use Tripadvisor, a site in which I have little faith. Thanks for the suggestions though.
As a senior contributor to TA I agree you do have to sometimes read between the lines and filter out the silly reviews but i`ve never had a bad stay based on selections from there.
I am also a regular contributor to TripAdvisor. When my husband & l stay in Whitstable, we choose the Premier Inn there. We've never been disappointed.

Not sure that a premiere inn ticks the boutique hotel box. Thanks for the recommendation though.
Bit late but.....
The Marine Hotel in Whitstable is very good. It had a massive refurb about two years ago. Stylish bedrooms and public areas right on the seafront.
