My daughter, age 14, is into Manga, Anime etc. She has been teaching herself Japanese online and we are all impressed with how well she is doing. I would like to buy her a book and/or DVD to help her learn Japanese but do not know where to start. I have looked online, but I am unsure as to what to buy. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.

My eldest followed a similar route and has spent two very happy years teaching in English in Japan. I have flashcards and a textbook, and literally boxes of manga titles. I had been looking to sell these on ebay but I'm happy to give you first dibs. If you're interested you can get me on fettler12 'at' g mail 'dot' com.

Thank you Mojo and Mosaic. I will look into these and get back to you later. I have been up all night with my daughter, who has now finally gone to sleep so I am going to try and grab a few hours shut-eye!
Boingo, what your daughter is doing is really a challenging task, but I am going to refer you an Online Japanese Course which will definitely help her to improve and build vocabulary with Japanese .
