Yes I do Tony. I'm a member of our local area streetlife. Members alert the local area if they've lost their cat, need a plumber recommendation, have something to give away, all sorts of things.

I have never been asked for any donation. My local council and police are involved as well as local groups.

Joined this a couple of years ago but soon got fed up with lost cats etc and the nitpicking things that people posted. Gave up when people started talking about the village and it took me a while to understand that they were talking about where I live. I live four miles from Manchester city centre so not in a village by any stretch of the imagination. Not for me but good luck if you get a good group.

I have been a member of our local group for almost a year and in all that time have only seen one lost cat post.
Through Streetlife I have located a decorator, a handyman, a mini bus driver and have sold a lawnmower. I like it.
