I accidentally checked (or was it unchecked) the prompt box when downloading a file and since then files automatically start saving to my temps folder. How do I restore the default setting to have the reminder prompt (something like 'always ask before performing this action) before downloading a file? (n.b. i'm only referring to left mouse clicks, not right mouse clicks). Thanks!

I'm not sure of the answer, but if you go to if you go to Tools, Internet Options, and then click on the Advanced tab you should see a list of other settings. Under the heading, Browsing, is the Enable Install on Demand (Internet Exporer) box checked? In my browser it is unchecked. Like I said, I have no idea if this will help, it is just a guess.
