Hi i have a copy of streaming vcr software that allows me to grab streamign media onto my hard drive. How ever, i cannot seem to find the links on flash sites. I am OK on html sites bit not flash. The only link i seem to find is the shortcut link that is only 266bytes large so is no good for offline. Can anyone help me find the source, for example a vid i am trying to capture is clea, stuck in the middle- www.officialclea.com. Any help is welcomed.

When viewing or playing a shockwave flash, the file already is on your pc hard drive, in temp folder; often content.ie5 ; Do a 'Window Find' search of your c: drive while still on the flash site; type *.swf in the search box and all your swf's will be revealed, the newer current ones likely got a blue e symbol. Stop your search and rightclick-copy the one you want and paste to e.g. desktop. You should now be able to view it offline i.e. it's yours. :-) what is your software? is it a freeware?

xyzzy... i think you misunderstood the question. The file would be a rm or mpeg/wma file as it is a video clip and therefore not a shockwave flash link. I did a search as you suggested and it just goes to a sghortcut link, not the actual content.
