When I was a slip of a teenager, some 20 years ago, I brought 10.00 worth of premium bonds. I have never won anything, not a sausage - has anyone out there won on their premium bonds?

well....people do win. My grandad passed away a few years ago but after he had his wife got a number of small wins up to around 500 from premium bonds. My dad seems to have been given the luck from his dad and has often got cheques in the post for 50 poss more. So yes you do win though i would say you have less chance with just 10 worth....saying that i dont think my dad has all that much. Why not ask for preimium bonds at your next birthday...im sure the odds are better than the lotto and you can write to get your money back at any time.
I've had one for 42 years and never won a penny!

YES - 50 in January on a 100 bond I bought in 2005. And a great delight it was to open the envelope, too, as it was completely unexpected.

But I also have a 5 bond from the early 1970s on which I have won nothing at all.

Well done steve's dad and Bigmac.

Kathyan, guess we just have to live in hope eh! lol

I actually won 3 times this month (3 x 50 's) and 100 last month but I am between houses and put the maximum 30,000 in for a while. Like you I thought no one ever won.

Odds are 24,000 to 1 for a single bond coming up and the number of 50 prizes each month are currently 1,205,668

I was given 20.00 worth of bonds when I was a baby in 1964, back then they only cost 1.00 each, During the 1970s I won 50.00, but nothing since.
