Cloverjo ///I haven't read the whole thread. My first thought on reading the story was shock and horror that someone could do such a terrible thing. Her religion and level of sanity never entered my head.///

So you ask who could do such a thing,,,,but not why?

Don't the two go together?
That's what I'd have thought.
Svejk - //That's what I'd have thought. //

So why your question to Cliverjo, since we agree that the two go together, then surely she has effectively asked both questions in her post - ?
Sigh. If you don't question the woman's sanity OR her addiction to RoPerism, what's left?

// (from page 11)
I think if you re-read my posts on this thread, each and every one of them which is engaged in the points I am making disucesses each point made against my argument individually
//

By "discusses", do you actually mean "quote back huge chunks of the other poster's writings* and add a one-liner comment to the effect that, no, they ate wrong because…" [repeat of your original reasoning]?

//
- which is not a 'broken record routine'.
//

Central to the broken record machine is that your position shifts not one iota from your starting point, while you wave away all additional information offered.

Like the indecipherable communications on the family computer. Have you acknowledged that this occured, yet?

Why does a nanny even need to access the internet at all? The child had a disability and needed more care than an average one.

* Hint: you only need to quote back a handful of words for the person to recognise which post it came from. Full quotes can be handy as we start a new page but when it's the post directly above, it looks like wasted space.

I was being facetious about you being paid by the word and 20 lines of quote with a one word comment on the end would be serious grafting. I humbly apologise for my failed attempt at humour.

@jackdaw

Sadly, it takes me so long to type my posts that, when the page refreshes, I see the pile of "answer removed"s and realise I've missed all the juicy bits.

andy has to be taking literally seconds over his replies as he's got to do all this moderating at the same time.
Jackdaw - //a-h doesn't do humour, witness all the zapped posts. //

Your inference is clearly that I delete all posts that I don't like.

For your information - and anyone else who thinks the same - I do not delete posts that refer to me personally, either another Moderator, or the Editor delete them.

I hope that clears up any misunderstanding around the notion that I abuse my Moderator powers because I don't like criticism.

Hopefully this means that you can stop sniping, and add to the debate instead.
Hypognosis - please see my post above to Jackdaw.
...and the band played "Believe it if you like!
Jackdaw - //...and the band played "Believe it if you like! //

You are becoming tedious and offensive.

I have told you the truth - and that is the end of the discussion.

Continual personal sniping will be reported.
Tedious, moi?
'Offensive'? Quite irrationally, and utterly incorrectly, my integrity on this thread has been attacked. Different strokes for different folks.
