New cars are delivered to the dealer with a sprayed coating of some kind over the paintwork etc.... Obviously the dealers have something to remove it with, anybody know if it is a special liquid or is there a simple way to remove it.

it is usually a coat of wax, which comes off with a pressure washer.
tar and glue remover or wax remover ( some companies may call it this) then pressure wash off will do the trick
They're usually supplied with a film of white adhesive plastic that peels off.
