Washing Up.

For those of us without dishwashers, what is the item you hate having to wash the most?
For me it's a sieve - never-ending battle!
Just wondering if I'm alone in this.

If I cook rice correctly, of course, I shouldn't need to use a sieve to drain the excess water (because there shouldn't be any). However I occasionally get it wrong and have to use a sieve, which means that it will be a real pain to wash up!

Ceramic baking dishes for fruit crumble. There is always burnt crumble & sugar clinging to dish, that needs days soaking or a strong scrubber, to remove.
