Is what really necessary?

If the house has 4 owners then there must be 4 names 'on the deeds' (Land Registry records) which are evidence of ownership. If some of the names are not 'on the deeds' then they are not owners of the house and have no rights in relation to it.

The alternative is to set up a trust or company to own the property with the 4 as beneficiaries/shareholders. I belive that once the number of owners gets unwieldy this has to be done anyway.
