Bonnet catch for Rover 75

I do not have a handbook for Rover 75 .How do you open the bonnet?The button inside the car does not seem to do anything

When you press the button inside a little Black catch will appear from out of the front radiator grille flick this up and you should be able to lift the bonnet

They had a problem with the cable detaching inside the driverside front wheel arch. You will need to remove the wheel arch cover to get at the cable. Once this is removed you should be able to see the cable join (it goes from one cable for the button inside the car to two cables which go to the bonnet catch. It is the joint between these that breaks. If this is the case then the cable needs renewing.
