I've just been elected our High School Student Body President for the 2006-2007 school year. One problem though: Our school is the most uninvolved and never hosts any activities for the students or staff. My goal is to change that this year and be a great president for the school. Therefore, I'm asking for anyone who would like to share any ideas or events that take place in their own school to please reply to this message. Thank-You for your precious time. Sincerely, Chula_Prez20

you need an ice breaker event like an informal cocktail party and then get some joint events going, either social or physical that require a small amount of participation and time, as you will all be busy, try a quizz league.
My school hosted a Talent Show which was totally open to students and staff to do any kind of sketch or sing or dance or impressions or whatever. There was a panel of judges including both students and staff and a prize for the most entertaining act. All kinds of people did all sorts of different things and it really brought out the best in people. See if you can get the principal to allow you to use the assembly hall and do it on one of the days before you break up for summer.
