According to our Local Weather Cutie today was going to be dreadful, wind, rain the full works.
The last 3 hours or so here in N/Kent have been Blue Skies, Brilliant Sunshine and just a bit of Wind, but nothing serious, all the windows open, Dog asleep on patio, it's lovely.

Hope you're all doing as well.

Trust me to open my big mouth ☺☺☺

Started to rake leaves up and they are falling faster than I can rake. Very windy now and heavy showers. I've retreated indoors.
Same here in Manchester.

Saw how nice it was this morning, and thought I will do some washing. Consulted the weather forecast and it forecast heavy rain all day, so I did not wash. The last 4 hours have been great. Grrrr.
Are you sure it was the correct local weather person ?

This morning on BBC breakfast , it cut to the local weather and up popped this bloke giving the weather for the London area .

Needless to say , i don't live in London

Back to Sunshine and blueish skies again.

What area are you in Kate?
Wild and windy night (not me) could hear the trees creaking as they bent to the gusts.

Half an hour ago , blue sky and sun - now pitch dark and Biblical rain.
I think that all the weather forecasters look at their seaweed and make it all up.
