Seems to have stopped now, think it just followed the pizza man to my door! Now he's gone, it seems to have eased lol!

cant believe what a lovely morning it is here is East Yorkshire after the downpour we had last night which kept me awake. I pity anyone camping here at the moment

Yorkshire is lovely. We are in a seaside place called Bridlington, just down from Scarborough/ I always feel sorry for the people here on holiday when the weather is like it is but there is plenty to do and its just as bad when when go away like last week we were in the Lake District and it was awful weather but the mountains and lakes are just as beautiful

Hi all,
in NYC. It is 9:53 a.m. and already 87 degrees F. 3rd day in a row. Too hot and power is out in some areas (not mine) and they want us to shut off A/C!!!
Some rain expected tonight.

Hi Teach! I see you still here, you survived. :-)
I haven't been back from since the first day I joined. People were so rude to me that day, especially the Ice Maiden person. I don't know if it's because I mentioned I'm from New York or what ... But it really put me of from coming back on here. How are you coping with this outrageous heat? Presently I’m at the beach in Coney Island. I have to go now but hope to catch up with you sometime.

Glad to see you back Keyspan. I am surprised you had trouble w/ ice. I have had lovely chats w/ her and some of the other girls. Try again. I am beating the heat by staying indoors.
I have never been to Coney island. Not too familiar with Brooklyn.
