Going to Majorca on Easter Monday. What's the weather like this time of year, and is the resort busy?

I went to Santa Ponsa on 1st April a couple of years ago.  The first couple of days were cold and the rest were warm enough to sunbathe, although it still gets very cold at night, so bring both swmwear and trousers/jeans for night wear. We had a couple of light showers on occasions.

Also bring warm bedwear as there is no heating in most rooms and the bed linen consisted of a sheet!

During siesta time we sometimes found ourselves bored as the shops were all shut and the weather was not warm enough to sit out in.

With regards to the business, it depends on the resort itself, we found that SP was mainly full of families, there were a couple of bars open with entertainment but no discos, and enough restaurants to keep us going for a week
