Just got back from York where my daughter and I stayed at the Best Western Kilima Hotel, which was very nice indeed - .it is in an old rectory About a 15 min walk, or short bus ride from the town centre and very quiet, with a nice swimming pool and steam room; breakfast was waitress service and could not be faulted.
redman how should I know a good hotel in York, when I live there?
When I arranged accommodation for visiting foreign guests we used this hotel, and all I can say is there were no complaints.
