If you have prescriptions tablets, with a lable, saying your address, so they are definaly yours, do you still need a doctors note to have them in your handluggage for a flight?

they'll turn you back at the border if you don't have a visa....its foreign you know.

We are travelling in civies so i might wear a kilt then they'll let me in.
Oh I don't have the sea legs Molly, indeed my land legs are a bit dodgy. Cannot advise re airport protocol , but have a jolly seafaring time.♥
My OH travels with a cross between MASH and Boots in his handluggage and he's never had problems anywhere in the world.
incidentally, there ARE restrictions on liquids you can take on board: no more than 100ml of each one. Sweets are fine.
just cary your repeat prescrition with you to be on the safeside, that clearly states the medicines/tablets that are prescribed for you,also has your name & address on it.
she'll need a translation of it into Gaelic, though.
I've never taken a doctor's letter with me. But I always take a current repeat prescription with me and have never had any problems.
You don`t need a doctor`s letter or a prescription for taking tablets in baggage within the UK. You can take half of Superdrug if you want.
jno very few people in Scotland speak Gaelic!!!! It is mainly the the extreme north west or the islands that speak gaelic
