how far is it from Portsmouth Harbour rail station to the Isle Of Wight ferry terminal? is it walkable or should one take a taxi?

About two minutes walk chirpy. The ferry is at the end of the station.

The catamaran, which goes to Ryde Pier, is at the end of the station platform. The Wightlink ferry, which goes to Fishbourne on the IOW, leaves from the other side of Gunwharf Keys. Easily walkable.

Depending on which platform, the IOW passanger ferry is between 5secs and 2 mins slow walk from the train :)
