Arriving in London by air in either heathrow or gatwick...not sure yet ...but want to go to the chelse football club's fan shop in fullham road. (jackets etc with emblem on etc) and do some shopping (want to get sized up for some jackets to buy later  on the internet) so can anyone offer some general instructions on how to get there from the airport and how many hours would it take?

thanks.

Depends on which airport you arrive at.  If you go to Heathrow, you can get the Piccadillly Underground Line to Earls Court and then get on the District line on a train bound for Wimbledon.  Get off at Fulham Broadway and walk a few hundred metres to the ground.  Or get the Heathrow Express to Paddington and connect on the Underground District line as above

For Gatwick, you can get a train from the station next door to central London and connect tot he Underground from there.  Timings and other details I will leave to Londoners to help.

If you are coming from Heathrow on the underground I'd allow about 40 minutes (from station to station) for your journey.
