hand luggage

can i take a razor in my hand luggage on ryanair? can't find a definitive answer on the governement website. i'm not taking hold luggage, or will i be able to buy a razor after security and take it onboard?? thank you so much in advance!

on FlyBe they state these banned items for hand luggage but whether all airlines are the same I don't know. Hope this link helps

i would take the razor with no blade in, you should be ok to buy blades after security, according to an article in Express this week, it was ridiculous what you were allowed to buy and take on board. It defeated the whole object of the security rules.
I always take disposable razors on flights and have never had a problem with any airport or airline that I have travelled with.

I dont think you would get away with the cut throat type though!!

thank you for the useful answers, and just to confirm, there's no problem with taking a disposible razor through security, gatwick was fine with it.
