Flight price and time?

Going to Detroit in August , can anyone out there tell me
how long the flight is ( from Manchester ) , and approx how

How difficult is to type cheap flights into Google and read the answers:

Nobody can tell you what the price will be.

Airline prices go up and down on an almost daily, or even hourly, basis depending on how many seats have been sold on the plane.

You could phone up in the morning and be told one price, then phone up in the afternoon and it may be �100 or �200 more.

One thing I do know is that the earlier you buy tickets the cheaper it will be. Leave it late to buy your tickets and you will pay through the nose (because the airlines know you are desperate if you are booking late).

Buy them NOW.

continental airlines are very good, excellent flights and very very competitive

I had a quick look on expedia.co.uk for you. They didn't show any direct flights but most options (US Airways, nwa, KLM etc) were priced �550 - �650. US were cheapest, travelling via Philadelphia.
