Amiens, Picardie France

My elderly parents and there two friends are wanting to go to the Christmas market in Amiens, Picardie France and there wanting to stay in a campaniel for one night, so all there looking for is a cheap but clean stay, does anyone know where i can look for some cheap rooms for them very near to Amiens. Thanks

Unfortunately the nearest Campaniles are approx 45km away.

There is a 'premier class' hotel 6km from Amiens and its only 40 euros a night:

There is a Holiday Inn express in the centre of town (which I have stopped at) but it's 99 euros per night.

You could try

Le Prieure
17, Rue Pondon, 80000 Amiens

Its in the centre of town near the cathedral. So parking is awkward, you need to use one of the town car parks nearby.
But the hotel is clean and pleasant enough.

B&Bs are good clean cheap hotels usually 35€ over weekends. There's one 6 kilometres outside of Amiens.

They mustn't miss the son et lumière show in front of the Cathedral at about 7pm every night. First time through it's in French then second time through in English. Free.
