Last minute hols, advice please

Do any of you have any advice for 2 adults wanting to go somewhere hot and sunny in July. We have been looking to book on line and have nearly booked twice, but when we have searched on the hotels the reviews have been bad. I have spent nearly two days looking and I am begining to climb the walls.

Flying from any london airport to somewhere in Europe.

Recommendations of places would be welcomed.

I've just got back Budapest with a day trip to Vienna and it was lovely and hot and sunny there and very cheap.

Stayed in the Art'otel in Buda (by the castle, palace, baths and lovely church) which was fine but if you want to be around town easier then maybe go over the river to the Pest side.

Santorini is an unforgettable place, but cheap it ain't! Do you want sea? If so, Turkey is likely to be cheapest bet, probably followed by Canaries.

I allways think that the people that send reviews are the people that have something to moan about the other 99 per cent keep quiet???

Moral of the story dont take reviews for granted, sure they help but??
