When travelling from Canada to Europe is it necessary to bring your birth certificate even though you have valid passport? Thanks

I've never heard of any country requiring someone to present their birth certificate. (It certainly doesn't happen in the UK or in the Schengen countries).

All that you'll need is your passport and any requisite visas. Holders of Canadian passports do not require a visa for stays of less than 90 days in the Schengen countries (where 'full implementation' applies), which are listed here:

We'll also welcome you to the UK without a visa.
