My name is hyphenated and an airline I deal with refuses to use it which always causes my memory a problem when I use online services. I am told that IATA ban the use of hyphenated names but my dealings with other airlines do not cause a problem. This is not an ego trip but my older memory causes me to automatically use my correct name which always causes a problem with SAS. Any ideas please. Trying to contact IATA is almost impossible.

I have the same problem my ticket usually reads the two words as one with no hyphen.I once booked with the last part of the name and had to argue to get on board because my passport said differently to my ticket. Its a nightmare.
So make life easy - drop the hyphen completely.
