If you check in online with Ryanair, you can do so 5 days before you fly.
So, if you're away for seven days, does it allow you to print your boarding passes for the return flight at the same time as the outbound one, or do you need to find an internet cafe when you're away? I know it may sound daft, but it is Ryanair and nothing can be taken for granted where they're concerned...

If you're away for 7 days, I assume that you must be 'travelling light', since you can't use Ryanair's online check-in service if you've got hold baggage:

Further, online check-in is only available two days prior to travel, not five:

Ryanair's booking system doesn't recognise the concept of a 'return ticket'. It treats your outbound and return flights as two entirely separate bookings. Whenever I take a day trip (which means that I can check-in for both flights at the same time), I have to go through the whole procedure twice. (I can't check-in for two flights simultaneously). So, as far as Ryanair's computer is concerned, your return journey has nothing to do with your outbound trip and you'll need to find an internet caf� if you want to check-in online when you return.

Cheers Chris - that's what i suspected. Ridiculous when you think about it.

Actually Ryanair allows you to check in from 15 days up to 4 hours prior to your departure time. However the problem still remains if you are travelling for over 15 days. I was having trouble printing off my boarding cards and didnt want to pay a £70 pp each way fee. I googled to find a solution and came across www.checkinpal.com, I have used their services several times as have my friends and family and its an invaluable service. Ive posted a link from you tube to support anyone who is having difficulties(see above) You request a free call back and they take your travel dates and check you in.
