Have a look here (scroll down to Type G). http://users.pandora.be/worldstandards/electricity.htm There seems to be a difference of opinion between this site and the one given by Sylday. If some sockets only accept two-pin plugs, this will be a problem if you have an appliance fitted with a British 3-pin plug.
No, you shouldn't. Cyprus is very 'Anglicised' in that they have three pin plugs, drive on the left and the tap water is safe to drink!
been going to cyprus for 14 years. They have the same electrical system as the U.K., no adapters required.
