Winter Holiday

does anyone have any suggestions for a good place to go for a winter holiday for a group of young-ish friends, who are looking for a cheap holiday in the sun with good nightlife? thanks.

What about Egypt... (not cairo though - that's very dodgy) If they wanted a more modern beach holiday they could try sharm el sheik / hurghada or if into history try luxor or a nile cruise. Flights and accom are reasonable and the great exchange rate means it cheap when you are out there.
