They are recommended, yes. I've had them both times that I've been.

I haven't bothered; just stick to bottled wate rand properly cooked or peeled food. (Assuming you're at a big town or resort, not eating camels in the desert)

I've had a look at the link CheekyChops posted up for you and see that Hepatitis A is on the list of vaccinations. This is soooo easy to get and will make you soooooo ill if you get it (I speak through experience). It is not worth taking a risk and not having the vaccinations. Believe you me, Hepatitis A is a lot, LOT worse than having an injection. And that's not mentioning typhoid and diptheria.
