can anyone help how do you get the clutch pedel off to change the quadrant as mine has broke in half

To be honest take it to a garage, it's not the easiest job in the world to do.
You'd be well advised to have the clutch cable changed as well, a tight cable caused by rusting inside the outer sleeve is the cause of quadrants to break.
