I've been around ten times now, and never had any jabs/pills for it. Neither have I met anyone who has discussed having done so. (And spending all those trips sitting out on dive boats all day I have talked to a lot of visitors...)

Sharm is extremely clean, just drink lots of water.

It is advisable to take with you tablets for food induced illness just in case. An upset stomach is easy to cure with the right medicine but without anything available life can be a real misery. Try to get hold of knock-out stuff for quick and thorough results.
