Am I able to take jars of sauces into the USA? They are bought from a supermarket, not home made.

you could try putting in your luggage, wrapped inside some clothes [ first put in a plastic bag in case it breaks] but when you land in the US they tell you not to take any food you have been eating or chewing gum with you but to leave it on the plane.
not at the moment you cant,they might think its something else,you know what the yanks are like.
Yes, as long as it is in your checked luggage. It's only hand luggage that there are problems with.

Declare it on the customs form.
