do they accept english money in turkey or is it just euros they take?

They will usually accept pounds, mostly because they can keep them and change them to euros when the exchange rate is best

HI K99, I have just returned from turkey (been twice now-spectacular!) anyway even though they are not in EU they will infact take Euro's as we took some incase we visited rhodes, the currency in Turkey is Turkish lira but absolutley eveyone will except english currency, it pays you to have some, you often get better bargaining power with it, and if you do take english money and you want to exchange it there we found the exchange rates pretty good, have a great time!!
