Vendee camping?

Can anyone recommend a site in the Vendee for first time campers, we don't want to be on a Hi-de-hi type site!

Are you independent campers or are you booked with a company like Eurocamp? We spent eleven years with Eurocamp or equivalent and a couple of independant years in France, enjoyed every minute, and never found a "Hi-de-Hi" type camp.

We haven't booked anywhere yet, but have looked at Eurocamp and some smaller operators. We are looking for somewhere coastal and not too busy. Is the weather guaranteed during August?
