I want to take a tin of corned beef with me to turkey(sad i know) but they cost about �6 per tin there, am i allowed to take meat products in?

not really, but my mum always takes bacon and sausages and just wraps them in tea towels, wouldn't really advise it though

Almost all countries have restrictions on fresh food produce of any kind because it has no standard method of production and may be carrying any number of pathogens which could be released into the local environment. Tinned products on the other hand are usually no problem at all as they are (or should be) produced to international standards and can usually be taken anywhere without restrictions.
