I'm looking for the words to a poem. I can only remember one line from it "I'll hold your hand and wash your brow". Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

I think it is called " a mothers poem" written by tim lovell for a film called Brian, hope this is the one you want, Ray

not brian, it was David

here goes

There are no words that I can say to ease your pain or hide away,

your failing dreams,your broken bones,

I have no words to change this day.

Helpless child i'll hold your hand and wipe your brow,

I'll wash away your every stain, all this pain,

i will hold you in my arms again,

from your first breath I loved you so,and with this love i'll let you go.

Now breathe your last my precious child,

It is time for me to guide you home.

Nice isn't it,very moving

hello bonbon, i probably have a few of the words wrong but it isn't far off, it was in comic relief, the music that went with it was written by brian eno on an album called Apollo atmospheres & sondtracks.
