excellent. If you stay at Jumereiah Beach there's a water park next door called Wild Wadi and you get free entry. Fabulous beaches, great hotels adn loads of things to do. Take them on a desert safari where they can ride camels with you or you could do the 4x4 jeep safari which is great fun!
I pressed submit before i meant to then....anyway theres also a zoo imaganitively called Dubai Zoo, a theme park (not on tehscale of Disney) called Wonderland...you can even go skiing in Dubai now!!! If nature says they cant have it all they just go and make it themselves! The ski passes are quite expensive though. There's obviously plenty of great shopping for you and excellent golf if the man in your life wants to relax! All the usual museums and mosques etc if you want to have a day of culture, and lovely marinas to stroll around. Plentiful watersports too.

by the way the Jumeriah Beach Hotel.....a lot have similar names but the one i refer to is the one shaped like a wave.....is prob the best to stay in with kids, the service is excellent or at least it was when we visited and also as a travel agent, from the many glowing reports ive had from others ive recommended it to. They also have a number of family rooms in addition to the standard ones but then all the rooms are pretty big anyway.

However, weather will be guaranteed, its safe to wlk the streets, and there is some fabulous shopping, not cheap, but if you are into designer labels, Dubai has them all
