Adaptors for Europe

I have an adaptor which I've used in France and Germany for my travel kettle


But does anyone know what adaptor is needed for Switzerland as from internet looks as if there is 3 pins. Thanks for help

The same adaptor should work - you just won't be using the third hole.


See http://kropla.com/electric2.htm which says that Switzerland uses type J plugs - but that C type also fit. Your adaptor is almost certainly type C

dzug Thanks a lot, for your help, am looking forward to going and to have my little kettle for a drink in the hotel.
In my experience, the travel adapters you find in airport shops etc do NOT have an earth contact (even though they may have a socket for the earth pin of UK plugs).
