My wife has been stuck (in lock down) in New Zealand since 10th March. She will fly back to the UK on 15th April. I have been indoors(sts) since 18th March. Neither of us have had or are (currently) showing any signs or symptoms of the virus. She'll be travelling with mask and gloves.

Q.What is the best set of protocols to carry out upon her return in terms of isolation and distancing in a small property. I cannot seem to find this specific information nor can my local GP's surgery offer any useful or helpful advice-no surprise there!
All suggestions are most welcome, Answerbank folks stay safe now.
thx, lee (Southampton)

This is our procedure every evening when Mrs Z comes home.
I open the door for her and hand her an anti bacterial wipe (yes, I know CV is a virus but I’m not sure there are such things as anti viral wipes).
She then goes and has a shower, and puts her day clothes in the washer.
I don’t think you need to do much else other than maybe put her luggage somewhere out of the way (she’d / garage?).
Ideally, on arrival, either she isolates and you provide, or you both isolate and get support for shopping etc from elsewhere. The isolation period is 14 days. If you're picking her up from the airport in your car, then only the second option is available.
Hopefully all the other passengers will have been self isolating. If you have two bathrooms and two bedrooms then one each and minimal contact at other times. Don’t know how practical this is. Possibly she should not do the shopping
calmck “Hopefully all the other passengers will have been self isolating’

And then spending hours together on a plane.
We`ve just completed the 14 days after return from Singapore / Australia, no symptoms so we are exercising caution and adhering to all the subsequent instructions. We were fortunate to have a cooperative neighbour who can look for to several nice meals out or some such when things resolve themselves.
Yes zacsmaster but hopefully they are all free from the virus
Assuming / hoping everyone has self isolated and is CV free isn’t a very sound basis on which to proceed.
