How to spend my winnings

I've just won �50 in Thomas Cook vouchers in a pub quiz, so any suggestions on what i could do with them. I'm pretty skint at the moment so can probably only go a maximum of another �50 over that

I've thought about doing that, but I've come round to the way of thinking, that I should take advantage of the chance to do something different rather than spend the money down the pub!

You can get last minute holidays for �99 but that is usually go the same day or at least the very next day. Look on Teletext and go to Thomas Cook to match the price. Don't buy their travel insurance because it is a rip off. What is the time limit to use the vouchers? Start saving and go for a cheap break in Spain or Turkey which is probably one of the cheapest destinations, it should be warming up after April. Avoid school holidays and it will be cheap. You can get 2 weeks for less than �200. I stayed in a 4* hotel in Spain in June for just over �200 once. If money is too tight then you can have a weekend break somewhere. Look on the Thomas Cook website.

You may find that what you have is a discount on the published brochure price, which will be a lot more than you'd pay for a late deal.
As suggested, sell them on eBay. Go for a short break in the UK through Laterooms.com, or Express by Holiday Inn which includes breakfast.

These vouchers are a waste of time. You can usually get the same discount just by asking.

These aren't vouchers that get me �50 off if I spend �500 or something like that. If I can find something for �50 it would be free.

Ask the staff in your local shop, chances are they will take them off you for �25 - �30 (it'll pay for a night out)
