I think that applies to discussion within the jury
I dont see that a juryman is forbidden from
"in my case the defendant pleaded not guilty"

and that is pretty obviously in the public domain

In Doddy's tax case
George Carman fed him lines and Dodd had the jury laughing out loud
judge a bit po faced about that one
( acquitted as was the intention )
