When the Ayatollah gets back from the pub, we're having Lasagne, fancy garlic bread and A bottle of SD's recommended Albarone from Aldi.

There's also a Cremant Rosé if the mood takes us.

What's on your menu tonight?

JD...go and squawk on another thread, you feathered fiend.

Roast him, sips, roast him.
I fancy liver, onions & mash with half bitter....no chance :(
Hi, NoM......I cooked a fantastic dinner last night......quite by accident you won't be surprised to hear.....I can't repeat it because it was made up as I went along......some of the wine I added and some I drank.... and I took little notice of how much went where.........

But the compliments I received will last me now til about July....so I'm opening a tin of tuna......and a bottle of red......x

Gness, I wish I could attend for the opening ceremony but I'll probably be 3 sheets to the wind by then xx
2 melba toast cottage cheese with pineapple and maybe a slice of ham
It's Saturday, so it's pizza.
Now there's the difference. Tuna, the poor man's salmon. My mother wouldn't even give it cupboard space.
You will be by the time I've managed the corkscrew and the tin opener, NoM......x
Jackdaw if you dislike these threads so much why do you hang around like a bad penny?

Will you order one L-i-K or will you get a frozen one?

I really like the Chicago Town ones.

How are you getting on with food now, Islay?
I'm not cooking tonight, YIPPEE!
Local hostelry is having its yearly (tables are prized) 'steak night' - 8 oz. rump steak with all the trimmings for £12.00. She's a terrific cook and uses locally-bread and butchered meat (butcher is also renowned), so I'm really looking forward to it. Went last year and discovered that she can actually cook a proper rare steak. :)
Lol I get on with food just fine I just can't eat it!! Its all a bit weird at the mo NoM, its trial and error as to what I can eat, had tinned toms grated cheese on soggy toast yesterday for lunch - tried to eat it again last night and it made me ill. I had a yoghurt today that made me so light headed I thought I was going to faint!
I have bought an avocado but its not ripe enough yet so I may have that tomorrow yum
Pizza and salad for us tonight.
I'm out for a curry with mother and daughter, so, no cooking for me.
Not sure yet. Probably pizza and garlic bread from the freezer.
I haven't decided yet.
