A sad day for football with the loss of the Busby Babes. Still sadly missed by fans like me. I saw Duncan Edwards play for United. A giant of a player. Bobby Charlton says he was the best player he ever saw.

My brother was born 1st Feb 1958 - Mum said the Nurses at the maternity home were all in tears when the news came through, of course those young men were the heart throbs of their day to many.

I remember it well. I was a 15 year old at school in Manchester area. I can remember lots of girls crying.
