Only to leave good reviews.

TripAdvisor is full of moaning minnies. We were looking for a hotel t'up north and someone had reviewed the hotel badly because.....it had a loose roof tile!!

We stayed in Spain last year and the hotel got loads of bad reviews. Mainly about the area it was in. I went walkabouts on google, absolutely nothing wrong with the area, it just wasn't a tourist area, and the hotel was sound.

I tell it as I find Ummmm, we have been fortunate to have travelled a few places & have always said it as we found it, we were once on the Crown Princess, what a ship we could find no fault in any way, but many did, we avoided them, they were not called TWR by the way!!!!!!

Maybe my standards or expectations are low :-)

If you go for cheap and cheerful, and I do, expect what you pay for. Usually they surpass my expectations. I've never stayed in a dirty hotel yet!

We're off on holiday soon. £455 for 2 people, 12 nights. Checked the reviews on TA and the management have answered every single review....which to me is a really good sign.

The few bad reviews were to do with other guests....like they can control that! Top tip...check out if there are any festivals in the area before booking!
Did that really need correcting, VHG? Could you not understand the question because of it?

VHG, The Spelling police section is on page 3.
TWR said "Tour Agent's, is this right" and VHG was good enough to answer.

Lovely place, we stopped at Qwara Hotel ( f that's how it's spelt???
Yes I contribute regularly, including a lot of the time on the forums. I leave good and bad and fair reviews. Some of the bad reviews are ridiculous eg someone gave a new hotel in my area a 1/5 because the rain made a lot of noise against the windows! Take them all with a pinch of salt.
Qawra is in St Pauls Bay. That's where we're staying :-)

I can't believe you can get a weeks bus pass for 6.50 euro.

I don't think it is either, Jordy.

Around that area we came across the Bright Sparks trying to hand out lotto tks which everyone wins, "a con" be aware, the City is a cracking place to go as I love History, have a good one.x
The problem with sites like Trip Advisor is, if you are upset about accommodation, or feel you have been ripped off, you are far more likely to complain than if you are perfectly happy with everything.
We will do. We always have a nice time.

He picked Malta because he wants to see the 100 ton gun. We seen the other one in Gibraltar last year. I'm not really interested in guns :-)

We had an Issue in Tenerife 2 years ago Ratters, it was about the A/C, the hotel was in the process of installing but had not reached our room, I had a word, they came up to 4 fans & a basket full of fruit, I excepted the fans but not the fruit, I did not think their gesture was needed as the problem had been addressed.

Thanks, Jordy. We'll have a great time :-)
