I've just been sorting through Mr Cake's laundry basket, for some bizarre reason I found a teaspoon amongst it.

It brought back fond memories of a past ABer :-)

Had it got any signs of being used in the bath.....? :o)
Did you ask him why it was there? Maybe he's stealing the cutlery by stealth...
I have a vague memory of who you mean but I'm not sure why. Teaspoons live in a parallel universe.

History has taught me to not question men and their teaspoon fetishes......

Jack, it does have the faint whiff of mint to it not sure if it's peppermint tea or bath gel though :-)

Maybe he's learning to play the spoons and will gradually work his way up to two spoons.
ahhhhhh molly, wonder how she is getting on
Question Author
The sound of one spoon is certainly preferable to two!

Wherever and whatever Molly is up to I hope she's happy :-)
I thought molly was still around only under another name?
I keep a teaspoon in one of my tool boxes and use it for stirring cans of wood-conditioner, stain, varnish, protective-finishes etc (obviously, small cans). Mrs stuey never even missed it.
Question Author
Stuey a teaspoon in your tool chest is one thing and I can see the purpose of it being there.

I have yet to come up with a reasonable explanation as to why Mr Cake is stashing spoons with his smelly socks!
EcclesCake, "stashing spoons with smelly socks" is pretty good alliteration. Next thing we know, you'll be posting spoonerisms:)

Not lucking fikely.
Guck that's food:)
I like to think that Molly discovered the pleasures of boys and booze then grew into a normal teenage girl.
Question Author
Paddy, hopefully that was the stage after boys and holy water :-(
Which ever way,Eccles I hope she's doing well.I know she wasn't popular with some members her but posts always made me smile.
